Buffer Overrun in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Ok, this only happens when i try to play a custom race. After i pick my race and set all of it's characteristics. I try to load the game and get this message: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Buffer Overrun Detected Program...Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\galciv.exe A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state.
