I just tried again and it worked for me this time. Awesome!

Hi Stardock, I am having the same problem as many with retrieving my Steam key. I have Galciv 4: Supernova on Epic Games. When I click the Key Transport link to submit my Epic ID and email address, it immediately responds with an error occurred trying to validate your information. I would very much love to have this game hosted in my Steam library. Waiting on this to be corrected. Thank you!!!
The ship leveled up
The solution to all of this pain would be if we could "control" each of our ships (if we so chose) for each battle (again, if we so chose). We could then select how many ships targeted the enemy, how many fired, where the ships maneuvered, what they did during battle, where they attempted to flee or not or self destruct, and which weapons to fire on each enemy ship. Master of Orion 1 and 2 did that masterfully as well as other gems including Interstellar Space: Genesis, which was modeled afte
Wow, this post went from "I would like a clear explanation" (emphasis mine) to Dragon's breath in just a few minutes. You went from sort of nice to I hate all of you guys at Stardock and I hate all of your products and I hate all of my fellow Gal Civ 4 players!! I hate you all!! lol Have you ever heard of the truism "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar"? You could have left out that last paragraph entirely and been far more effective in your messaging.
It is annoying to me as well. This is why I rely heavily on save / reload.
I had an Alliance with the Terran Resistance. After a while, I got a popup stating "an agreement with the Terran Resistance has ended". I checked and the Alliance was dissolved. I was able to quickly and easily re-establish the Alliance, but this is annoying. An Alliance shouldn't automatically expire. I don't know of a single case in history (though, admittedly I don't know ALL of human history) where an Alliance automatically expires. I don't believe that is the case with NATO, for
I have noticed EVERY single starbase that the AI deploys are ONLY Culture starbases. Awesome that the AI knows how to use Culture starbases, but kind of lame that this is the only strategy they know how to use. I have found in my current game playthrough that I must wipe out "friendly" races to me (Torians, in this case) simply because their culture was beginning to overwhelm me. So, I killed off the Torians and went after the Drengi next. So far, every starbase they have created are ALL Cult
I agree with Derek with how he has described the difference between a "colony" world and a "core" world. This is how I imagined it also. I do see a potential peculiar "issue" that is not too likely to happen, but it could conceivably happen. Imagine you're at war with the Drengin, you conquer their home world of Drengi that had a population of 15. It took you 10 turns, but it is now yours. On turn 11, a Drengin fleet arrives and wipes out your fleet, while another fleet OR single ship
Lol, yeah have to agree this kind of stuff needs to be tweaked and re-balanced. A "vast quantity of Elerium" is NEVER only +1 Elerium. I would think 15, 20, 25 would be vast. Otherwise, don't use Vast and don't make these kinds of battles so hard with little rewards for the effort.
Buffing the military staircases is something we are adding sooner rather than later.
What are "military staircases"? For a moment, I really got excited about the potential Doomsday weapon that is the military staircases!! LOL
Version: 1.0 Details: At game setup, the trait "Veteran" shows no numerical value for experience gained or lost. I don't know if this is just missing data at setup or if it is actually not applied to a race during gameplay. I don't believe I have played a race with this trait yet. How to reproduce: At Setup </p
Posted elsewhere... IMO, farms suck in Intrigue. I have played three games of Intrigue. If you get lucky with RNG, you will find one or two planets with one or two tiles of arable land. Build a farm, get a little food and build a city. Food quickly runs out, especially if your RNG roll craps out and you find one planet with one
Just purchased this mercenary ship from the Bazaar. It is supposed to give +150 base influence points to the colony where it is stationed. This is not working in Intrigue. I'm not sure it worked before, but I assume it did. I even looked at the individual contributing factors to the influence of this planet and it isn't listed anywhere. The name isn't listed nor is +150. The total of the influence at the galaxy view also didn't change. Just reporting an issue.

Build a farm, get a little food and build a city. Food quickly runs out, especially if your RNG roll craps out and you find one planet with one or two arable land tiles. Such is the case with my current game of 10 planets so far, one planet with two arable land tiles. That just sucks big time and is not realistic in any way. Real
I have been playing a game with the Terran Alliance since the Crusade launch. I have a large galaxy. The turns were zipping along about 1 to 3 seconds nearly every turn until around turn 180 then the turn processing sloooowed way down. Each turn now processes at about 30 seconds to 1 minute. That is a real let down from a couple of seconds to so many. Tried restarting the game, same result. Restarted Steam, same result. Restarted my computer, same result. Not sure what happened. During my tur
I just emailed all the information to . Thanks very much for the quick response!! Damon
I started a new sandbox game after the Mercenaries update. I am playing as the Torians. I've made it to about the mid game and the game crashes frequently now. It is unplayable really. I was able to play the campaign as the Torians with no issues. The game needs a tweak, fix, or I just need a remedy for my specific situation. I tried posting a support ticket on the Stardock website, but the CAPTCHA wasn't working properly. No matter how I would enter the letters and numbers it would r
I don't know if these have been mentioned as a bug before, but here goes my report. 1.) The Defense for Fools Book that should give +2 to defense doesn't work. At least it didn't the few times I tried to use it in my game. Whether trying to use it with a hero or other unit, it consumes the book, but no increase to the Defense stat is shown. 2.) The special ability for the Dwarven Lord (I don't recall what it is called "Winter..." something)
I just checked my approved star name and it is finally in!!!! Vaydra is in! I am very happy about this! Thank you Stardock for finally including it! Thank you to 00zim00 for posting that you found yours. I had given up looking because it wasn't there for sooooo long. When I saw yours finally made it in, I thought I would look one last time. It was near the very bottom of the list. Now, I will look into buying Sorcerer King. I'm very interested in
Thanks Mormegil for looking into it. I have no problem with the peacekeepers being game changers. But, I have a significant problem with them being game crushers or game enders for the Human Player. I was no where near the most powerful player. In fact, I was 3rd or 4th in a galaxy with 6 major players. And as mentioned in my original post, I was the one attacked even though I didn't attack the other races. I was the peaceful race. Why did the "peace"keepers attack the only peaceful major
Awesome! Thanks Frogboy. Hopefully the peacekeepers can be balanced out and not be a game changer. Sincerely, Damon
I generally play the peacekeepers in my games until an AI declares war on me. Then I will defend myself and even go on the offense. So the big bad freaking overbalanced peacekeepers showed up and wiped out 5 of my 8 starbases in one turn. Why? Because they were being the "peacekeepers". But, here is the frustrating thing about it. I was playing a race I created that was similar to the Terrans. The Drengin and Yor declared war on me before the peacekeepers showed up. I saw them attack my bases
By the way, the way this simple thing has been poorly handled by Stardock is one of the main reasons I haven't bought Sorcerer King.
I'm not going to lie, it makes me rather tick off with Stardock. DO YOU HEAR US YET STARDOCK???? ARE YOU LISTENING?? I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER GAME FROM YOU GUYS UNTIL YOU PUT MY APPROVED STAR NAME BACK IN THE GAME!!!! AM I BEING TRIVIAL? NO! ARE YOU BEING UNFAIR? YES! WHY WOULD I SAY THAT? BECAUSE THERE HAS BEEN NO COMMUNICATION REGARDING THIS SUBJECT! AM I TICKED? YES, YES I AM AS EVIDENT BY THE ALL CAPS!! I NEVER TALK LIKE THIS, BUT I AM NOW. FOR YO
