And what about influence stuff?

Yea, I was going broke and I didn't have any military. I was also playing on the smallest map, which made it a bit more difficult. The mistake I was making, was building only one econ building. Whats generally a good fac/eco/lab ratio on an average planet, say, PQ 10? On the game I'm playing right now, I'm doing 1 farm per planet. Should Happiness buildings be used? I'm finding it my taxes are too high, some planets approval will just continually fall.
Yea, I'm seeing that now.
I'm using my own species, but used tips from one of the links about what things to pick. Also, does having more than 1 economy building add additional bonuses? Like, having 2 stock markets would give a 50% increase to economy for that building. Does that work?
Playing the game on the easiest setting and I am LOSING!!! I don't get it. I don't get why I am having such a hard time.
Scratch that. I got it fixed.
I'm trying to update the game, but Stardock Central won't accept my serial number. I've put it in 5 times and made sure that its correct, but it still won't recognize it as being the correct one.
`waves` Hi to those that might remember me from last year :).
I'm back from a looooong absense of playing the game. I think I have a decent grasp of it(on planets that are class 10+, I put down 1 farm, 1 econ, 1 happiness, 1 influ, 1 starport, then the rest factory and research.) What I want to know, would be the numbers that each of these produce so that I may be able to get their full use, if that makes sense. I know the beginning always seems to be slow going, but I'm not sure if I'm doing a decent job or not.
The Good/Neutral/Evil option has come up for me. But it seems I can't select any option. How can I resolve this?
Is it better to research an entire tree first, or go with what's the fastest at the current time.
