Alot of interesting insight here into the tweaked economy of Twilight. I think the tweaks were very well thought out and have benefited the actual gameplay of the game. My favourite tweak so far has been to the increased importance of "tourism" aka territorial holdings. It brings a new facet to the game that wasn't really there before and I have welcomed it with open arms. :)

Why not make it so a constructor initilises construction of a starbase, then the player can select modules to build. Once some modules are chosen, the constructor acts like a freighter and brings materials from the chosen planet (proximity and production have an effect on how long it takes to build the modules as the constructor has to travel further). Makes it less of a pain to build and upgrade starbases, and constructors still have an important role. :)

For those wondering, if you download the latest patch for Forged Alliance you do not require the CD to play the game. I think this list is great. My favourite points were #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #8 and #10. :)

I can't wait. TotA is looking really great. I'm happy to see it go only through totalgaming.net, does this mean its not possible to actually order a physical copy off stardock?

Hey all, I recently got Gal Civ II: Gold Edition from Stardock. I ordered it from the Stardock store (download + CD). I had to use my gf's PayPal account to do it. I got the email with the serial code. Funny thing is it used my girlfriend's name and email listed above the product key as the user name and email respectively, which is confusing the hell out of me. Can I use the serial and associate it with my Stardock account? My girlfriend never made an account, yet the email se
