The AI getting obssessed about my harmless scout happend on latest 1.6.4 I belive. It was the latest beta as of June 1st.

Can't you r-click on techs in the trade screen to see what they do? Or is that not possible on the trade screen when AI makes you an offer? I must agree with the OP though. Lack of accurate tech information in some screens is bad, especialy with the current beta build which seems to like to crash after alt+tabs.
While on topic if silly ai behavior... I played a game on the weekend on tough, where the one of the AI races would keep sending almost all their warships at one of my unarmed ships. It was a sensor ship with no attack/defense and for some 100 turns it would lead a stack of some 80 enemy ships around by it's nose until I built up enough of a fleet to take it out. The only reason I mention it is that I would have probably lost if all those fleets did not compulsivly try to catc
Well here is the strange part: One of the other non evil races eventually took the planet and flipped [B]instantly[/B. I did not have MCC at the time, I'm not sure if the race who held the planet while it did not flip did. If the MCC when built gives a GCC notification then I know it didn't have it.
I had no MC center. I was an evil custom race. One thing I thought off though: Do plants flip when you're at war? I'm pretty sure I was at war with the dudes at the time. PS. On related note, does Yor's 100% loyalty bonus do anything? I've never noticed any effect in game. PSS. Beta is latest version out of Stardoc as of yesterday.
Hey guys, in my last game I had a nearby Drengin planet next to my colony which was sitting at 11x the influence with a little pirate flag to indicate it was ready to flip. However it never did so in some 50+ turns. I planted a spy on it to check for any improvements that might cause this (re-education center I think?) but there was only standard factories and some research labs on it. Please make the starbase hp be scalable into late game. It takes large amount of resources to make a good military starbase it makes sense for them to last. Either: 1) Make logistics affect the starbase hp. Bigger fleets mean more hp. 2) Make hull tech line affect the starbase hp. 3) Make it a module upgrade.
