I am just too much of a NOOB in this game to be sure...but i advanced the Shipdesign first time, after a few researches were developed, i was able to select from 3 different Engines and i choosed the fastest one. But i will try another got (soon).
First to say: sorry my bad english. I have just recently bought GalCivII and dabbled a bit around. I researched a better engine and placed it in a new design of a (faster) Colony ship. Than i restarted my univers, using my old Race, only to generate a different star map. But i can still build my previously (in an other game) designed Colony ship an can use it, thoug i havend researched in the new started game the used Engine yet. Do i misunderstand something or is this a bug?
