AMD is a very good cpu and cheaper than Intel. Also if you plan on running a x64 rig then get an x64 cpu chip, also make sure you have enough memory and a decent ps. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

Here's my desktop, I'm running Win 7 Ulti. x64. I am usimg the Tinted Win & by Mirsguy. I'm using Fences because unlike others running Win 7 x64 I can't get ODP to work, can't create, changes or save themes. They change when I change them but after a log off and back on they revert back to what ever theme I had running at the time. I hope that Stardock will work on making their products x64 compatible. One would think that this being a skinning community (made up of people who are either or all, power users, gamers and designers who usually have high end pc's) that they would be "hip" enough to understand the benefits of x64. :borg:

I am running Win 7 x64 and ODP does not work. I can't create new or change any themes even when I can it only lasts until I log off or have to reboot for what ever reason. Even when I start from scratch and save it under a different name, when I go to check it out later it will load as what ever theme I had running at the time I created the new one. I've un-installed and re-installed several times and I always get the same results. This is really bad (for me) since I use ODP extensively for a

I have a Quad Core AMD x64 system with 8 gigs of ram and a 9 hundred series video card with 1 gig memory. I also us the Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card along with it. I am running Win 7 x64 and I have had no problems with drivers. Now that Win 7 is offical many are already producing drivers for it x32 & x64. Sound blaster has a driver to work with Win 7 x64 http://support.creative.com/Downloads/welcome.aspx .
