Hello, I have the latest update to TA and I am playing on a small map as the Altarians. I built the Restaurant of Eternity on a 100% influence spot and it does not double the influence. When I look at the map summary it stays at 20% instead of increasing to 40%. It's a bit frustrating since I tore down an embassy there that was giving me 30% influence. Just wondering if this is a bug or part of the game. thanks,

When you construct an influence starbase it increases your influence by a percentage. Does the starbase's influence ring have to be around a planet for that planet's influence to increase or does it just increased influence whereever it is placed? I just realized that I've been thinking it just increases my influence wherever I place it, but maybe it works like the economy starbases that increase the trade amount of the routes that pass through its ring of influence.
