I have a similar issue to your #2. Playing DL, the game screen sometimes goes black and appears to lock up. Moving the mouse around doesn't help. Task Manager shows the game to be running, but it's all black. I've noticed this every time AVG Anti-Virus updates, but it also seems to happen at other times. I was curious about this, so I created a Metaverse account and a character. I'm on a computer that still has IE6 on it and there were no problems.
