my laptop wont leave sleep mode when i open it in Windows XP WinCustomize Forums

hi, this problem started about 2 weeks ago. spoken to various people but no-one has been able to help me. was hoping i could get some help here. using a fujitsu siemens amilo pro with an intel core 2 duo processor. when i shut the screen, or when the computer enters sleep mode, it wont wake up. the power light goes on and the hard drive light flickers a little (as it would if the computer were waking up), but the screen stays blank. then, about 30 seconds later, the computer r

im running 2 anti virus programmes (nod32 and BitDefender (standard)). ive heard that its not good to run 2. which one should i carry on using? shot. legends.
