Alright: 1. Fix the Mind Control Center, and by fix I mean, allow it to work as it was originally intended, do not readd the 100% economy bonus, it unbalances the ethics choices way, way too much. 2. Allow multiple construction modules to be placed on a constructor. So rather than having to build five constructors separately, I could just use one with five modules. 3. Allow races to propose what law the U.N. votes on each year. Or simply change how/what laws a

I played a couple games through the colony rush phase, and i noticed this bug in a game as the Altarians. Unfortunatly i didn't really notice it for sure right away and didn't get any saves to prove/reproduce it. I noticed my tech cost about doubled right after I researched Soil Enhancement. I only saw it happen the one time though, no idea what could have caused it. The current game I'm playing hasn't had such a problem, and I'm almost finished researching everything. <br
Just finished a 130k game... that should help :HOT:
I've received various empire invitations for awhile now, but I, admittedly, haven’t paid too much attention to them. Lately though, I've felt the need to finally pick one and perhaps help take down some of those old top empires. After some thought, I decided to join you guys. The Tyranny seems active and friendly (in an evil sort of way!) enough, with great potential for galactic domination, and really who could ask for more?! So, hey all. Hope to see those boards up again
I'm still hoping they'll unlock the metaverse while TA is still in beta (pretty please?), but either way, if you have the money now, and plan to buy it when it's released anyway, I see no reason not to purchase it.
This is pretty great news. Far too often game developers release games too early with tragic results... but i do have one tiny request. (and it's totally not selfish or anything!) Any chance the Metaverse could be enabled for TA? It's my understanding that the metaverse is down to encourge people to experiment with each race as they get released for beta. It seems to me now that the focus is shifting to balance, it would be beneficial to encourge people to play games to the end. <b
Bumping this... I tried resumbitting my tournament game, but last i checked (which was a day after reposting it), it still didn't show up in game. Is this fixed for next patch? I didn't see it listed on the known bugs thread, so did it get lost in the shuffle?
I posted a 21k game last night, but so far it hasn't shown up yet. I did notice it appears on my metaverse page http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=player&id=14016 but it doesn't count towards the metaverse (says i've played 13 games, but there's now 14 listed).
In 1.8d the game crashes to desktop when clicking next on the screen where you select your race's abilities and political party. It crashes immediately when clicking next, never going to the opponent selection screen, and it happens every time. I didn't have any problems loading a saved game. I was going to make a long post, but then I realized I’d be going over what the community and the devs probably already know, so I’ll keep it short...er. - Rebalance Ethical Alignments Evil is too powerful, good is too weak, here's a few ideas how to balance it. - Change good's loyalty bonus into an influence bonus. (by a value deemed appropriate) - Add 1 or 2 defense points to Good's defensive techs to bring them more inline with Evil's weapon techs. <br
Yeah a few bugs i've noticed, most mentioned here already... - The navigation centers don't state how much speed they are suppose to add, and they do not add anything. - Weather control does raise the PQ of the planets you control, but does not add any new titles to build on. It does seem to work on new planets. I believe the tech does say it's suppose to work on currently colonized worlds. - A few obviously misplaced techs. ... keep thinking i'm
didn't work here either
Having the same problem here, although i never had it before, possibly because i didn't play any 1.8 games long enough to experience it earlier, but maybe not. The game was started after 1.8c too.
