I have noticed that when I reduce the number of ships in fleet combat that the directional error is not as grave, so it may be a memory issue -- how much memory does the combat viewer need to plot correct trajectories given ship movements while bullets are on route? I have noticed a bug in the current version DA 1.61.090 sometimes ships will disappear for a round. They are still there but will come back after moving the ship. This has happened to my own ships and to the enemy ship. The ship will come back after loading or moving. It is very annoying since I have been attacked by the AI while the AI was invisible and I was unable to block the attack. I have a similar problem. I have not played this game for a few months due to bugs. I decided to give it another try today, downloaded the new updates, started a game, finish the first turn .... the Turn button goes away and stays away, I can load save. One time the round finally finished after about 30 seconds and the button came back. This is on a 4600+ with 2GB or RAM. I'm currently reinstalling the entire program since I received error messages during the upgrade..... Just great
No offense, but why is it always a problem when a Mega Event happens? Here is why it is a problem, it is the perfect example of the poor documention accompanied by this game. I'm having the same problem, but my movement is stuck on "5" for EVERY ship. In other words, I can add 20 engines to my ship, but the "Moves Left:" will show (for example) 34/5. The first time my ship moves it moves all 34 spaces, but after that, it's stuck at 5 spaces, or 5/5. This is driving me nuts - any ideas? I have the same problem in the middle of a DA campaign. The only fix was to restart the ENTIRE campaign.
