Gold Edition in Europe in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi, I've been wanting to buy Galactic Civilizations II for quite some time now but had been waiting for the Dark Avatar expansion to come out first to buy the gold edition. However my problem is that I live in Malta (Europe) and can't seem to find the Gold Edition anywhere (including UK websites). Is the Gold Edition ever coming out in Europe since it's very expensive for me to order the game from the US? I'm not considering the download option since i have quite a slow conne
