I *think* it's green when there are no ships with any movement points left.
Eidolon
Nevermind and disregard. Apparently posting for help fixed it
I seem to be having a problem accessing my MV account. I was updating an avatar picture for my account, realized I used wrong one and went to change it. Now when I hit my Accounts -> Edit my Characters I get someone else's account. I've tried deleting my cookies and such, reloading the site, even restarted my PC - still I keep getting the wrong account. Anyone that could lend a hand with this please ?!
Yeah, it's back it up. Just need access to the empire forums and I'll be all better.
I'm going thru withdraw during the forum upgrade ! Hurry it up guys... Morning gang !
90% of all my surfing, downloading, etc.. is done at work. How do I get away with it? I'm the LAN Admin for the company, I have the keys to kingdom, as it were
I'll be 35 in Sept so I'll chime in Favorite quarter muncher...Defender (man, I loved that game !) I tend to play TBS, RPG and MMORPG. TBS is always SciFi based, RPG is always Fantasy. My wife works second shifts during the week so I get to squeek in 3-4 a night, 4nights a week to play games. Well, I'm off to go get the Thundercats Season 2 DVD ! Thundercats Ho ! <img src=
1&2 - AS far as I understand it the difficulty you choose sets the intellignece for the AIs. If you select Randomize Intelligence, it will select different intelligences for each of the AIs in game, but together they will average to the difficulty level you chose. So you will most likely end up with some on Normal, 1-2 a level higher and 1-2 a level lower than Normal. 3. If you delete the design it's gone permanently. I'm new to the game myself, but this what I understand it
And story wise, I mean [the Iconians] DID create the Yor. Incorrect. The Yor where made by the Arnor to replace the Iconians but when the Dread Lords made them sentient the Yor nearly exterminated the Iconians! "...as the Iconians advanced, an increasing number of the Arnor objected to the servitude of the Iconians. Of course, like many moral debates, there was a practical side: the Arnor had grown quite dependent on the service o
I'm usually in default or tactical...didn't realize there were other views.
Take care Wyndstar, good luck with the trial !
I tend build everything deep in my territory and spread them out over a few planets, kinda don't put all your eggs in one basket. My homeworld always gets Eyes of the Universe (personal fav) and usually the seocnd or third colony (depending on production capability) will get the Resturant. The rest of the TGs, SPs and GAs I spread out amongst the rest the rest of the planets, and I don't build anything on "border" planets.
I think it would be interesting and maybe less time consuming to win in a way other then simply conquering- having to take over every planet by every colony and to create all those colony ships and escorts; Yes, I've done it before on the beginner difficulty setting. You can trade for the planets, buy them or my favorite - offer up a Peace Treaty in exchange for some of their worlds. Then attack them again next turn <img src="http://image
Hey Clearstar - welcome to the galaxy I'm quite new myself to the game, been playing only a few weeks or so. SOme things in your post thuogh, I recognize in the game I play/played though. The lack of planets is probably because of the game settings when you start. I could never find anything to colonize other than Mars. Bump the Habitable Worlds and # of Worlds up to Abundant. That s
Very nice. Kudos Kryo and gang The classes are quite appealing. I don't have the system or the time to run huge/gig maps, I've pretty much stopped at Large. The new classes gives me my own little bracket to compete in.
I noticed this before too. I think it's because when you click the area to rename something in this gmae, it doesn't highlight it all. It simply puts the cursor at the beginning of the line (instead of at the end, which most are probably used to). Evil has it right though, click the area to rename then use the delete button to erase what's there then type what you want.
I had the opposite experience when I started playing a few weeks ago. I only won through Diplomatic victory. A few games without a shot being fired or a defender being built (by me anyways). A few things that were common for me in those games: Researched Diplomacy and Economic techs. Every couple of weeks Speak to each empire and trade techs with them. Sometimes I would just give them a tech or 2 or cash. Do not form any Alliances with any empire until you are Close
BTW fellow Gal Dips, if you want a spify image like the one below, ask Drengin real nice <b
Great! Already have an account at the Core (same as here Qestraal). Been trolling the forums there for a couple of days now
Hi all ! I was wondering if you guys were taking on new members by any chance? I just started playing a few weeks ago (GalCiv2 Gold Edition) and I'm quite addicted to it. I played a few "sandbox" games to get familiar with the interface and the game itself. I've worked my way up to playing on a Medium Map with 5-6 opponents on Normal or Challenging. I have only just recently started to post games to the Metaverse. Concurrently only 2 games posted a third probably tonight
