trouble installing an xp theme in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Sorry, you must hear this all the time, but im a beginner at this and just want a cool theme for my new computer. i would download a theme and when i open it, windows will say it cant open the file etc. il then try and dl it into the correct folder, or brose in my themes section. do i have to download any software or do anything just to get a theme? any help will be appreciated, sam
