Icon packager system shutdown question in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I downloaded and installed Iconpackager. Works great, except for one thing: whenever I shut down and re-start, the changed icons on my desktop are still there, but when I go into "my computer" all the icons are back to the windows default. Things like my folder icons, printer, control panel- everything is how it was. Is this mornal? It only takes a moment to reapply the new set of icons, but shouldn't they remain even after a shutdown/restart? I can't imagine the thing is set up so that you have

Thanks everyone. I was a bit vague, wasn't I? I downloaded windowblinds and installed it, and it worked fine for a bit, then conked out. I just uninstalled it, and installed it fresh again, and now it's fine.

So I downloaded everything and was downloading skins and all was cool- then out of nowhere I try to load a new skin, and when I do from my "display" window, it changes the colors, but the look stays the same. What the hell happened?
