Hey, I just got around to winning a few glorious battles for the empire this month! The pathetic food species never stood a chance. ;)

I don't really see that as a problem... As far as I can tell, the crew is just how many people are operating the thing; Officers, maintainance crews, medical staff, etc, it doesn't really say how many people "live" there. For example, the passengers on a cruise liner aren't considered part of the crew, either, but they are definitely there.

Hehe, first post. :) Actually, I would love to see something like the invasions in Deadlock II. Something like the first invasion screen only from a top down perspective and somewhat more detailed, with tech level/path being reflected. Maybe giving the units individual stats and stuff. Nothing too fancy. My main problem with the new screen is that it feels like there's just too much going on at the same time with blinking little flags and the "main" video screen.
