I am also experiencing this issue. I have not successfully finished a game in GalCiv2 yet - every single time it crashes very quickly into the game (first 20 turns approx). It is either a crash to desktop (about 20% of the time) or a freeze for 5-10 seconds, then reboots itself. I doubt this is an overheating issue, as I successfully run more hardware-intensive games like HL2 and BF2142 on this machine all the time.
