I do like all your suggestions especially the starbase one. It makes no sense that you can't build a mining and military module on one base. Nor does the 5 hex rule for building starbases. They are just annoying.

Yes there need to be a way to bring back obsolete designs of our choosing like in GC2. And I have discovered that hull designs as well as regular designs made in SP don't pull over to MP and vice versa. This is really annoying because I'll make designs in SP to be used in both to keep down the time I have to be in the designer in MP.
Defiantly agree with Number 2. This was so annoying in GC2. I would even go one step farther and allow a lock on the fleet name.

So is there a way to assign certain design ships to a specific race? For example once MrStarTreks ST ship packs become available for download (by the way awesome ships) then I want to attach them to my Federation Race. And when either playing them or playing against them they only uses these designs. I've never been able to get this to work in GC2 and I'm not sure how to do it in GC3. Also I did not know you can make ship par

[quote who="Frogboy" reply="20" id="3556900"] I really hate the Altarians. Which is ironic given how much of my life has been dedicated to telling their story. I guess hate isn't the right word. They are unusually familiar with real evil and as a result tend to be very aggressive in rooting it out. Which is ironic since this (desire to eradicate "evil") is what may ultimately destroy the galaxy in the first expansion. There's an interestin
I'd like to put in all the Star War, Star Trek, and Babylon 5 music as well as keeping the existing music in the game. Can this be done. I ask because your description implies that we would have to over write the existing files.
I have only seen one game where a surrender option actually works well and that is AOW3. In that game they can (but not all the time) surrender if they are getting their butts badly kicked. And they surrender to the person that kicks their butt the most. Defiantly a big improvement over the surrender mechanic of AOW2 which really sucked like GC2 and now GC3 does. GC3 has the potential to improve this surrender mechanic to be every bit as good as AOW3 but until then pl

I've played MP with a couple of friends and 56 other npc races in the game and it works well and fast without the simultaneous turns. Although I would not mind it being an option. I do agree that the MP is missing some basic elements that should be in any MP game such has password lock on games etc. But I'm hoping the devs will address this soon. Now as far as "Community" goes I don't MP with the community I only MP with friends so this aspect is something I

Oh that is too bad. I really wanted my Colonial Fleet Carriers to spit out my Viper fighters. That would have been cool to see on the battle screen.
If you build interceptor ships will these be the fighters that the carrier uses?
Yes please this is a must.
I have not had any problems with Immense Galaxies. I have been playing with 56 Races and max Minor races with Auto save set to save each turn and except for the first turn it runs really fast between turns. I've gotten over 200 turns. Now the first turn took about 3 minutes with all those races.
And before anyone says it, yes I know that SP was primary focus. But all my friends and I have been wanting to play each other in GC since GC2 but there are issue that we hope get corrected. 1) Attempted to start a MP game this weekend (to test all the custom races we can finally use in MP) and we were in the lobby and every time some one joined our game it would reset the race we had chosen. 2) Sometimes there are races on th
