That's odd--that solution works for everyone else using XP64.
Well, when I go and apply the compatibility option to the exe itself, and not the shortcut, it starts up, but then crashes when I try to download the update. I just can't get the update. This issue will be fixed in the near future, right?

Interestingly, Impulse works fine, but will not let me download the Twilight of the Arnor update. It says it is not compatible with my operating system. I am running 64-bit Windows XP. EDIT: XP64 has an XP compatibility mode, but Impulse will not start up under it.

No, it doesn't, though when it reaches that part of the disc it does stop reading it, and then eventually the disc drive just stops altogether. It's like it's waiting for me to switch discs, but that is not the problem.

The game gives no errors or anything. Everything goes fine until the game reaches 46% installed. Once there, it just stops. No error, it doesn't freeze, it just sits there. I've tried switching discs, but with no success. It doesn't freeze, it doesn't give an error, it just suddenly stops and sits there. If anyone can help, that would be great.
