So far Apart from the task bar which will take a little getting use to I do like windows 7 so far is a very usable beta. ATM I wiped off the OS on my laptop and using it as a primary for testing windows 7 (Laptop is non critical). So far I can say I think its better then running vista and I like the changes they made to windows 7. Windows 7 if it keeps improving when it gets to RTM I am sure going to buy this OS. I think so far microsoft have done a

I got a vista based PC here. For me it depends on the hardware I run it on. At work I run it on a dual core Pentium D, 4Gb ram single 500Gb HDD and a geforce 7 based card with 512Mb VRAM. so far its performance has been reasonable but has had less issues than XP. My home PC I run vista as well this is on a quadcore, 8Gb ram, 6 different size HDDs each in sets of 2 on raid0 (I do have backups in place on a nas box using raid5), XFI Fata1ty and a Geforce&nb
I also forgot to add that for starbases I would like to see have some choice in the design of the base and how it looks (some extra base designs rather then just the generic ones).
I would like to see in patch 2.0 The ability to build a shipyard anywhere in space with use of a constructor. <p class="MsoNoSpacing" st
Just my two cents I would not do subscriptions for games period. I prefer the old way of buy a game for a one of price and buy the expansion packs. Usually when the time comes I do move off a game when I had enough. Saying that I would buy a content patch for a one of fee for each content pacth if it has enough to justify it. On that note I would expect patches that fix bugs or balance the game out to remain free and would not consider paying for them. I do ha
I thought I add my views on this topic. I brought a lot of games I wanted from day of release. I will not deny that I have pirated some games in the past. Reasons were: I was unsure about them and did not want to spend my money on a game I may not of liked. Big release date differences on some games so it was a chance to try and play it early before it was out in my country. I played some demos of games before and when I got the final version it w
How are other people feeling about the money issue? Lowering costs 1% doesn't seem like much. A lot of complaining about the economic issues in the game. How is it now? I am not going to start playing the beta if I spend all my time worrying about money. Regardless I will start playing when it comes out of beta.
At the begining of the game I do have money issues. I raise the taxes as high as possible without affecting happyness to much and produ
Glad to see they are pushing it back to improve it futher. I am prepaired to wait for RTM simply because we are able to play the betas which are updated every week or two. It would of been a different matter if we did not have access to the beta and it was pushed back. Right time to start a new game and see how I do.
UPDATE: Beta 0.6.4 is up. No major changes, just getting back in to the swing. * Scaled Minbari fleet, will probably use these sizes as a base for rescaling the rest Feedback about scaling would be greatly appreciated * Updated dummies on 45 of 105 models - Liandra model textures don't work in GC2 - Vorchan can't be imported for editing * Dummy intro movies * Purple, gr
I really like the new espionage system, it is fun to cripple the enemy in another way than just attacking them, but I am wondering if it is at all possible to spy on my allies without hurting their economy, like in DL or GalCiv I?
I have to say I like both systems from Dread Lords and Dark Avatar, The Dread Lords I could just pour money into the system and they are spied on without any spys needed. That changed in Dark Avatar, You Have to now place spies to gath
I would like to see a new beta release today to see what has been added and also giving us some more extra to play with and since it is the 8th. But future releases of betas I would like to have the dates revised.
I could'nt care less how long they take. OK by christmas we have more then what we got atm in the beta but the longer they take the better. It gives them time to add plenty of new features and also bug fixes. I like what I seen so far considering its an early beta. I could'nt care how long they take for all I care the final could be released next june. But by christmas we would have alot more content to play with then we currently got. So my vote goes to January. Als
Just got my email, Logged on and I was able to install it.
email? I ordered it at the beginning of the month .. So, you are saying I'll be getting a serial number for the add-on pack sent in a email tonight?
Had mine ordered since august so I dread where I am in the line. Unfortunaly We don't know where we will be. To be honest if it was me I would of got them processed as close to the beta release date as possibly (not on the release date or on the order date) and had the serials ready for everyone to get
Never know it may get my serial number soon then again it may not. It won't. Just gotta wait your turn in line while the orders process...
Yep Unfortunatly. I got work tommorow and was hoping to get a shot on it tonight. I only hope it comes before 11pm UK time. Don't like to wait till tommorow. Am a bit supprised that its taking sometime. Would of though that stardock would of processed the pre orderes slightly early
