Ok found the problem. Seems the new patch isn't seeded on Server 2 and for some reason my Stardock Central was set to Server 2. Changing back to Server 1 fixed the issue.

Ok I tried to update but my program says there is nothing to update to. The current version of Twilight of the Arnor that i have installed is 0.93[b].002 I can't seem to find how to get 'beta 4' that everyone is talking about and yes i have the beta option checked.very frustrating. Sorry to sound so stupid but i paid for the pre-release version and have so far loved it. When you say that a new beta is out soon (i.we. tomorrow etc) will my client treat that as an update and dl it or are the beta versions separate?

Flickery rendering at accelerated rates in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Just updated to 1.61 having not played for a few months. Previously the game ran fine and there has been zero hardware or software changes to my rig since I last played. Now if I go to start a campaign and get to the screen that shows the race and has a rotating ship (in bottom right of central screen) the rotating ship seems to e rotating at hyper speed but is very jerky and also a bit flickery. Everything else on screen appears fine. Also if i carry on through and start game
