Settings won't change on restart in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I just installed Dark avatar onto a new machine with Vista on it, updated the game and everything, but it opens in windowed mode, and when I try to change the resolution setting and full screen setting, upon restart the settings have not changed. Hopefully this can be fixed, because I can't stand playing without being able to use edge scrolling.
