how and where would I adjust the settings within the game without losing the one I have?

I start several new games to find one that is interesting for me. When I find a game that I want to play I save it with a new name, then I start playing it.( sometimes I will "CTR N" up to ten times before I find a game I like) Sometimes the AI races will not expand out of their solar system and I’m the only active player. My game setting is on huge map, obscene playing level, I play with three random races and five minor races. I have not adjusted the game in any way and that just applied the

Technical Support, I just started playing GCII and it looks great but I'm having an issue with the main map interface. When I move my mouse to the edge of the screen, the "zoomed in" area suddenly is "off the map". Even when i set the "mouse sensitivity" option to its lowest level, it moves the viewed area off the mini map. I have to click on the minimap to put it back in place (the blue "screen area" box shown on the mini map then animates in from the direction I had placed the c
