Update: Fixed Using RegEdit How To: 1. After closing Stardock Central and GalCiv2 Open Start menu and select run, or if you using Vista use the windows search box and type in "regedit" 2. Hit enter 3. In Regedit open folder on the left "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" then open folder that says "SOFTWARE" Scroll down until you get to the "Stardock" folder open it, then open the folder "Drengin.net" then open the "GalCiv2" folder then open the "DarkAvatar" folder<br/

Unable to Update DA in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hi, This is my first post on the site, but I have been playing the game for at least a year and a half now Like many people I am having a problem with ship movement with version 1.80e, I understand that this is not the latest version. In Stardock Central it recognizes my Dark Avatar game as Version 1.80q100, however, on the games main menu it recognizes it as 1.80e. Every time i press "Update Game" nothing happens, and it lists the last update as of occuring on 2/1/08. I am unsure

This has been happening to me on every game i play. The races show up on the most powerfull list in the begining of the game even when i have blind exploration on. Is this a bug?
