CANT DO ANYTHING IN GAME in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I recently bought the game, the game installed fine and went through the opening movie w/o a hitch, however when i went select Tutourials, nothing happened, the same applies for every button on the opening screen, i then updated my drivers and the game, but nothing helped here is my Debug Info Debug Message: Version v1.4x last updated on: Mon Oct 23 17:43:56 2006 Debug Message: GalCiv2 is activated.
