Actually, it's not that bad. Many socialist countries have high tax rates, but they also provide high levels of service to their citizens: unemployment insurance, socialized health care, etc. What I'm thinking is that for that 79%, the government is taking care of almost all necessities (housing, food, health care, education, etc.) leaving the remaining 21% as pure discretionary income. I was recently playing a game of Dark Avatar. For most of the game, I had set my military spending to 0% and my research to 67% and was building ships by focusing on military on those worlds. I listen to music from Galactic Civilizations II even when I'm not playing (by the way, thanks for having it as accessible MP3s; that really helps. ). But the music has no ID3 tags, and I don't know anything about it other than the file names. Does anyone know who composed it, what the actual titles are (other than, say, "losing01"), and such?
