Sorry for not having anything to contribute, but I'm just glad you use that System Alliance logo from Mass Effect I made! :D By the way, your ship looks quite good for something made in Google Sketchup, I always thought it was nothing more than a programme to build Facilities and other various buildings. I had problems with textures myself back in the SW mod development but I was never able to fix them.

Why not? By replacing the default files of the textures he can set his own. For example, replace all the Breathable planet textures with a different set of pictures, so if he selects a planet as a Breathable/Habitable one, it will be the texture he selected.
What is the maximum resolution of the generator? Can it make large textures? (2048x1024 and/or 4096x2048)? Also, it seems very similar to the Photoshop plugin LunarCell hich also makes textures and clouds at any resolution you need. It's truly a device for the lazy. If you really want to make good textures, make them yourself, combine and mix, I always get good results when I create my own texture. I use it primarily to make wallpapers and Space Art, not for use in models or games lik
The size is entirely dependant on the scale of the X model. I once converted a 3ds model into X file and the result was so big it was in the size of a Tiny galaxy map. I then rescaled it and got the desired size I wanted. So Raruto, if you don't have a proper 3D modelling programme, you can't modify the current default ship scales.
Banned for having 0 Karma. Also, can't believe it has 126 pages just since April 1st...
I thought that no mods were uploaded cause no one would bother to make any new mods, but now I see it's a problem with the uploading. The Library is really a crucial part of the modding community, please if you can give us any ETA on when we can finally show our mods to the public again, we will really appreciate it - I think I speak for all those modders when I say that.

Henosis, the image of the human race can be changed however you want. It doesn't really have to represent the human race cuase technically it can even be an image of a pair of shoes or even some advanced form of human evolution you found 5 minutes ago in Google. You just need to search the web for pics you like and put them in the Race folder under GFX. Then select them in-game.
double post
AytchMan, simply because the races have 10 techs while you only 1 or 2 does not relay on the willingness to trade field. Depending on the level you chose to play with, the AI will cheat whenever it wants and play unfair, this may be another reason for their quick jump in techs. I remember when some posted that the AI's ship have a ridiculous high number of logistics or laser units in their ships.

Just to make it a whole easier for you, just make a shortcut of the game's exe and in the address (after you did right click>properties) add this line to the end: GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe" cheat This will make your life easier as well, all about cheats: https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Cheats_and_keyboard_shortcuts <br /
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an advert regarding HW3 coming out in 2010 or something?
I cannot for the life of me get this cheat to work. Just what the hell am I doing wrong?
Probably stupid question, but... Do you have cheats enabled? If so, check Ctrl-M to make sure, money should be added to your game if cheats does work, then try again. Scoutdog, it may be something with the Interface options, try to play with that.

I pretty much like the current system. I guess the only thing I would like to see improved is the graphics and some more options. Like having both a ring planet and a moon, with more than 1 moon. Also have a diagonal ring for gas giants. And the shadow, to come out from a different direction and make it look more realistic. I would also like to add the Ctrl-Shift-U option enabled as not a cheat and as a Interface option. (This combination allows you to change the camera view to rotate 360 deg
Awesome!
Woah, wait guys to where have you taken this? He was simply asking if wormholes in the game can stay for the whole game. CapnWiky, the answer is no, they can't stay the whole game, maybe an option to disable them or enable them forever will be in later versions of GalCiv2 or even GalCiv3. Now for the rest, the game's wormholes are all but realistic, they are simply there to create a symbol to represent a force sucking you in and pushing you out in a different location on the m
He probably means the black hole anomaly when the ship is teleported into a different quadrant in the game.
Nice image Zyx I see you managed to utilize the new command! :) Yep, this is indeed a problem. Since I don't play in the Metaverse this makes small importance to me, but in light of this it would be very cool if an option in the interface would allow camera to be free. In the non-cheat mode game of course. This may be something the devs want to work on in the next patches.
As soon as I posted here I ran to Twilight of the Arnor and did my research. The results are quite simple, although I didn't find it anywhere, not even on the GalCiv wiki. The answer is: Ctrl+Shift+U = Free Camera I hope it helps the people out there and get another game experience. Sorry for being stupid if this is already known... oh and Remember - A different perspective on life can change everything :P Example
Don't worry Zyx, I'll do some research and get back to you Asap. Can't let this amazing thing go away. Knowing I saw it and knowing it is there keeps me playing even when I'm really busy. ;)
One day I was playing Twilight of the Arnor with cheats enabled, when after pressing a combination of "Ctrl-something" keys, the Camera was free for me to rotate in any direction, up and down and sideways and what not. I was wondering if this is a new feature and what is the exact combination to unlock it. I started a new game shortly afterwards and was stuck with the simple Camera view where I can only view planets from above and rotate 180 degrees. (Means that when the Camera was free I cou
I have a couple of C&C3 Tiberium Wars Wallpapers, all on which there are no logos at all, just the name of the artist in white in the bottom left. Personally I think that big logos are not good for the images, and should be in the side of the image. On another note, there are logos which does not represent the game, but the one who created the image, or who has a copyright on it. So you in your computer won't run around saying "I made this image". If there is a theme you like, say
