How are population growth bonuses due to morale applied? Are they based on your civilization's overall morale, or are they applied to each planet based on that planet's morale? Also, does the super breeder ability work the same way?
4]You also need to look at the size of the module. Each ship can only hold so much equipment. You might be capable of fitting more of a more expensive module with similar stats, than a larger, less expensive module. On the other hand, if you aren't filling up the ship, design it so that you have the cheapest parts for effect. I had this same event happen, but I wasn't sure what caused it and didn't want to go through all of the variables. I started the campaign during the prior patch, and continued in the most recent one. If I tried to continue the campaign, it would CTD before the map would come up. When I tried to restart the campaign, it did a CTD as well, but the next time I tried the campaign it started fresh without asking if I wanted to continue or restart.
I am not a very experienced player, but when you get strong militarily, other races seem to become wary of further strengthening you. In the dialog panel, they tend to say things about their advisers warning against trading military techs even if you are on good terms with them. Had you been trading for a non-military tech, you probably would have had a much more reasonable deal.
Am I the only one who wishes you could send freighters to starbases to set up a supply route to allow the starbase to slowly upgrade on its own without sending a massive number of constructors there?
