so wait a previous thread that I just saw now actually has the same question just worded differently and it actually got solved but not this one?

I modified some values of RaceConfig.xml but game doesn't recognise them. Do I have to do something else apart from just changing values in notepad?

I want to make a tech that can only be obtained by moding the RaceConfig.xml?

Can anybody tell me how can i make a new ability and where to find the abilities file?

What about modding the points remaining in the abilities and the tech tab?

I changed the terrans from raceconfig but when I re-copied the original file the terrans haven't changed, they still have the same moded stats. I tried to delete the starting techs but they still show in the faction selection. When i change the other factions they actually change but the terran don't change even after I re-copied the original but the stats are still there. What's going on?
