Well, I figured it out. When I right clicked the properties submenu on my Galactic Civilizations 2 shortcut in my start menu, I found that it wasn't "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe" listed it was "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GC2Launch.exe" that was in place. When I changed my short cut to read "....\GalCiv2.exe" cheat - everything worked perfectly. So far there seems to be no difference when launching the game btw "GC2Launch.exe" and "GalCiv2.exe".<br
I tried the cheats too, no good. Only one that did work was Ctrl+F for Frame Rate. Not exactly what I had in mind. I read that to enable cheats you must: "...Useful Galactic Civilization 2 Cheats To use codes, you must launch the game from a shortcut that has the word "cheat" added to the end of the Target line in the shortcut's properties screen. For example: "drive letter:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\galciv2.exe" cheat Then enter the codes at any
