Damn! I like that mod. It's something that I think should be part of the game. Something similiar is in every other strategy game I have (Civ, SMAC, MOO2, Caesar III/IV). Just because I know how to build Manufacturing Centers shouldn't mean I have to spend 57 weeks building one in a new colony when I could improve production by spending 10 weeks building a Basic Factory. I was using the No Automatic Updates (NAU) mod in Dread Lords. It worked fine, no problems. Today I installed GalCivII Gold w/Dark Avatar. I downloaded NAU and extracted it into the mod folder. Fired up the game, went to options, checked "use mods" and couldn't find. Like an idiot, I clicked on "defaults." Nope, wasn't there either. Using My Computer, I went into the mods file and put copies of NAU in the mod directory and the mod\default directory. I still can't find NAU when I go into
