I just updated the 1.4 to current version with Stardoc central. I reload my campaign game. Played couple of turns then WHAM! I am in several billons BC debt out of no where. Can Dreadlord steal my treasury and cause me to bankrupt? Is this a bug?

I am in dread lord campaign where I need to destroy dread lord. I keep running into bankrupt. I reload several time but I can not find out why I went bankrupt. I keep track net income each turn but during the turn, I suddenly have billion BC debt. Is it a bug? Oh, after I went bankrupt, several turns later, the game crash and kick me to desktop. I have updated video/sound drivers.
