Hi Luffy! Winstep Xtreme is compatible with ALL Stardock products, so you don't have to uninstall anything to try it out. In fact, Winstep Xtreme is compatible with [B]everything[/B]. :) As for system requirements, Xtreme runs quite well on very old P3 150 Mhz systems with 512 MB RAM, so it will simply fly on your Core2 Duo system. Winstep Xtreme works under Vista 64-bit, but there are issues (for instance, the Control Panel shelf only lists 32-bit Control Panel applets), that is why Vista 64 bit is not included in the compatibility list. This said, there are a couple of users that I know of running Xtreme on the 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

Dean, I tried earlier to upload the AeroSky Winstep theme which uses the brand new Winstep .xtreme file format and, after getting the progress bars, etc, the upload failed complaining of a wrong file type. This was using upload2.aspx. With upload.aspx the .xtreme file extension was accepted and I was able to upload the theme normally. Is it possible to allow the Winstep gallery to accept BOTH .zip and .xtreme file

Not sure what is going on, but it sure is spreading, and it looks like hard disk data corruption. If it is, then it should be looked into ASAP before more and more files get corrupted and so do the backups. This has been happening all over Wincustomize from what I've heard, but I'm going to talk specifically about the Winstep gallery . Right in the first page, preview images for Eminence and NX-WaterBath are missing.

WARNING: Besides the already mentioned problem with IE saying it cannot download a skin (doesn't happen when using FF) thumbnails and preview images have been gradually disappearing throughout the site !
