Even though I have not seen any official announcement Galactic Civilizations III website is up :) galciv3.com

At this point I'm loosing faith that we'll ever hear any real news of GalCiv3, it's been many years already since Twilight and it would be nice to hear that it's coming or its been scrapped. If they can't make an official announcement then maybe something like we'll hear something later this year or early next year or at least throw us a bone :S
Galactic Civilizations is near and dear to my heart. I haven't been able to return to it as soon as I'd like because Stardock got so big after its release that I got spread between a bunch of projects. Now that Impulse is sold off, I have more time to spend on the games unit again.
Being the last hint of an update on this possibility in Galactic Civilizations 3 was last July, it would be nice for
I'm sure it would make for an interesting read. I'll look forward to it. On another note it would be nice to eventually see some information on a time table for a possible Galactic Civilizations 3 :) you know whenever.
Not that I've found but then again I never use scouts...
You will not get the alliance option in the trade screen until you are very friendly (close) to the race that you are attempting to form an alliance with. Same thing with Research treaty and Economic treaty's but not to that extent the race in question only has to be somewhat friendly at that. Even if those options appear it does not gaurantee that the race will agree to ally with you or form such treaty unless they feel it is beneficial for them to do so. You may ne
very true, why did you do that MarvinKosh lol :P
I notice this happens on my Immense games as well, mind you my system isn't as good as yours and tend to notice this usually after the colony rush stage when war begins among the races. I tend to see this get real bad when surrender is disabled. However, in my case If I let it go the turn will eventually finish although the longest I've waited is 40 minutes, normally I've seen this 5-15 minutes in most Immense Galaxy games. I never complained as I always assume
There are a lot of posts on what Twilight of the Arnor is lacking or what is wrong, or what can be fixed. However, on a positive side of things what do you think Stardock got right with Twilight of the Arnor?
Well, I'm sure happy to see that information :) A little bummed but it's understandable. Being that
I just want to say that i am not going to respond to this post or any PMs because as i seid i am anonymous developer but i wanted people to know the truth.
I doubt if anyone would reply to this, but being that there will a while to say the least it would be nice if possible for an update fixing some of the suggestions
You're just having too much fun with the editor :)
I would not agree that TOA is broken, sure some people may find it easier than others but I find it a challenge. Mind you I normally play Immense Galaxy with very slow techs and max number of AI players in game at the hardest settings. The only thing that I notice is one race always seems to jump way out ahead of the rest, but it appears to be always different. That and some races always appear to be much weaker than the rest but none the less I still enjoy playing.
All I want for Christmas is an announcement that GC3 will be released December 24, 2013. Could it be totally out of the question?? A Tuesday 13 months away??? Only Stardock can say [e digicons]B)[/e]
On this national day of voting here in the United States, is it possible to ever get a 100% vote for your political party in the game, I myself have seen it in the 90's but it appears that even if approval is at 100% you always have a few voting for something else?
After playing Twilight again quite a bit over the last few weeks, here is a list of things that I think could have made it a little better. Mind you the purpose of this was not to list the major or big things that I think it was missing but just little things that would have been nice if the update that Frog wrote about before his (sabbatical) that I hear never took place because of all the hard work he does. I doubt any of this will ever happen but it would be nice. In no w
I usually only play metaverse games so modding is out :(
Saying that GC2 is dying is nonsensical.
I agree with that as I continue to play it, although...
The impatient ones make some post bemoaning the game being dead every few months and then whiz off to play some other game.
I do tend to bounce between games, but always come back to play GC2 :)
Game develop
You have way to much time on your hands lol, Interesting numbers I still find technology rates not slow enough in larger maps as you have more planets to offset this, where as tiny you only have a couple of planets. Thanks for the information.
I've actually been playing GC2 lately :)
True Chibiabos, however, that information is a little outdated that was as of 18 months ago, a lot can change in that time, as you stated above. I've been awaiting something from Stardock to enjoy for years, I enjoyed Sins a little, but Elemental doesn't interest me in the slightest, right now I guess I'll have to await SimCity over at EA and see how that turns out, hopefully by that time I'll have something here to look forward to :)
Yeah then have been very careful to hint at but not confirm any development on Galactic Civilization 3, this tells me that they are planning on it but haven't committed to it officially. So I would think that if any development is occurring it would be at the very beginning gathering ideas ect... That would mean most likely no beta for a year at minimum. I'm just hoping for an official announcement soon but they just released that elemental expansion so it will be a
well that's something, wish it was more but oh well :) I'll cont impatiently waiting.
this little bit of hope has kept me looking here, hoping there may be new information, anything else you can hint at?? :P
Thanks Kryo
I understand the whole concept of cross marketing and I own Sins myself, however, when I saw this post I admit I was confused for a second and thought they were talking about Galactic Civilizations. Just a general questions being the Journals section in the past has always been about this game and updates for this, I guess this is just a disappointment. Thanks, Seilore
