Thanks for the slipstick link - of course I'd tried the alternative 'shades' but it hardly helps. As it is, I reckon a genius could do this. It's perfectly possible to intercept directx calls that outlook makes when its rendering the screen. A true genius could redirect those calls and do some re-colouring. Hello? Geniuses? *crickets*
Thank you neone6! But that is unfortunate. It looked like this was maybe the one hope I had of cleaning this thing up. Stardock guys: is it ever likely that the new Outlook can be tweaked by WB?
