Thanks Astax! Like a dope I had reformated my computer recently and I forgot to enable folder options to show hidden folders. DUH!!! I got it now thanks.

Astax, I bought the game through digital download and my files don't line up like yours :( I don't have anything in the application data folder. I created the folder like you had listed but the game couldn't find it. For me the game files are under program files but I don't see a record-singleplayer folder there either! /vader

Hey I'm also a new player and I cant create a character either. After i log in to the metaverse from the game it asks me to create a character. When I press "yes" it just takes me back to the main menu.

Noob questions about star bases in Strategies GalCiv2 Forums

I just picked the game up a few days ago and have been enjoying myself immensely but I’m a little confused about the intricacies of star bases. Can more than one star base operate in the same area; if I have two economic star bases that cover the same planet does it get a larger bonus than if I had only one? If I have multiple star bases covering a trade route will that lead to larger trade bonuses? Still being a noob it seams like a good idea place one of each star base in each sector I have, i
