When someone declares war on me the dialogue does not show up any more (it did with 1.31). Also, as somebody mentioned already, the screen when someone surrenders is now missing. Apart from not being able to read their comments any more (shame really..!), war declarations and surrenders now come pretty much as a surprise if you don´t happen to notice the according icons (which are still appearing). Should get fixed in the next patch <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/

I also experienced occasional freezes even with the new patch (one time so bad that the system locked up and I had to reboot). I have now set autosave to every 5 turns, and since other complex games also freeze at one time or other I don´t really mind too much.
