I looked in that folder but couldn't find any custom race files to remove. I did delete the raceconfigxml files but it made no difference. I've searched every folder within GC2twilightarnor and there is nothing that suggests it is a custom race file. I decided to delete the whole GC2twilightarnor folder and it fixed things. Thanks Kryo. I managed to get it sorted before I saw your reply. I changed the preferences file to just fullscreen off and managed to get in the game. I then changed the resolution and fullscreen options in game and, hey presto, I'm able to load the game now. There's no way I could play windowed all the time so hopefully it's a permanent fix (does seem to be upon further testing). Managed to sort the impulse problem too by pure trial and error. I'm getting the same stuff when trying to run Twilight or Dark Avatar. I can run Dread Lords fine.
