The description of the Jihad of the Krynn technology states that 'neanderthals were exterminated before the rise of modern humans'. At the moment this isn't a view held by a majority of paleoantropologists. According to [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal#The_fate_of_the_Neanderthals"]Wikipedia[/link] (which isn't a real source, I know), the two major views are replacement by Homo Sapiens (possible due to climate change), or interbreeding. Violent extermination was unlikely.

I'm sorry to bump this post after a few months. I'm having a problem with the download speed of Dark Avatar. All the other packs, gc2, heightmaps, tutorials, download with about 5 MiB/s, but Dark Avatar is stuck at about 25 kiB/s. When I installed DA a few days ago (new computer, crash, hd wipe), it was exactly the same. Everything downloads fast but DA. Any ideas on what is causing this?
