They should stop spamming influence stations everywhere (Carnoids are the biggest offenders), it's very annoying. I'm not too fond of them capturing resources too much either to be honest, it just makes me want to kill them off even more. Their constructor building is way out of control, they tend to build constructors and freighters and maybe a handful of horribly underpowered attack ships (3-10 ATK point ships when they have much better tech available). Seems like TA has kind of made all the weapon trees the same (with some various racial differences).. I kinda miss stuff like the 'Nano Ripper', hopefully they make the weapon tech tree more interesting before TA is released. It seems like the "minor race steals all tech secrets from major race" and the "so and so breaks off from empire to form new empire" events seem to be highly bugged and introduces tons of advanced tech that is in no way possible to exist at that period of the game. It also looks like minors have an uncanny ability to magically research high-end tech that also is way out of place early on in games. i've been playing as terrans; i guess they don't get any additional racial weapons. it does seem like there is less weapon tech to research now overall (at least for the terrans)

Seems like in TA beta there are less weapons now, anti-matter, quantum, and positronic torpedoes are cut, disruptors, ect ect.. these going to be reintroduced or are they cut for good in TA?

Some are fairly well done (most of the beam weapons). Others just look really silly (most mass drivers). A few could use some tweaking (photon torpedoes move way too S L O W). Mass drivers are supposed to be magnetically propelled high velocity slug shooters so why the rainbow colored puke effect on many of them? Anyways in my opinion the weapon graphics could use an overhaul and overall could look a lot cooler in general with a little work.

After setting my military spending to 0% somehow it created some weird error where my civ received a metric ass-load of BC.. it also increased my research so much I went from researching ECM II to Aereon Missile Defense in 1 turn.. nuts. I have no idea how this bug happened but if it's still a bug in Dark Avatar you guys might wanna fix it.. =P

Just some things I'd like to see in DA that I think are missing from GalCiv2. 1) Defensive bonuses for smaller hulls, penalty for large. Reason: A fighter (tiny) should be harder to hit than a capital ship (huge). This is sort of a Space Empires thing, but I think it would add a bit more to the game especially if you take my second idea into account. 2) More Weapons, especially weapon types. Example: Researching Beam weapons would give you a variety of weapons not just
