where their forum moderators were encouraging piracy of GC2 due to the lack of copy protection You can't be serious!?! I don't like Starforce as it stands but to activly encourage piracy on someone who does not have copy protection is just very very low...Can anyone give me a list of games that has Starforce on it...so I won't ever buy them?
Scarlet Fox
I'm still a bit new at this myself, but I'll have a go at your questions. Question One --- Can more than one star base operate in the same area; if I have two economic star bases that cover the same planet does it get a larger bonus than if I had only one? --- From kryo himself in an old post. Yes, Starbase bonuses stack in overlapping areas of effect. You can select both bases using CTRL+Click+And+Drag. This will highlight the areas they affect. The areas whe
"/> ----well I can't seem to get the pic to come up right...but thats my planet in the top right...and well..trust me there are 14 transports there...I'll see if I can fix the picture.
So, I'm not at war with the Iconians...but they decided to send their massive invasion fleet through my space to some obnoxious minor race's world...unprotected...there are 14 transports in this picture (one fleet has 4)...all...right there...next to my planet which has a couple ships which could destroy every single one of them...I'm still decided if I want to destroy them all or let them go. <img src="<img src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/927/nutstn1.th.png" border="0" alt
E-Mail sent. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
How long until you see a game like this on a console? WWW Link It certainly won't be on a 360 or any of its competitors. AHEM WWW Link Thank you.
Boarding parties: Capture enemy ships instead of destroying them Now that would be a very cool thing. "Hey look...that ship has a 100 Laser Damage on it...Lets go steal it!" Of course should the reverse happen to the player...."HEY...That was MY DeathCruiser..." Could be just like invading a planet, larger ships have larger pop
Ok, I'll give that a shot. Let me know if you need any of my other files, or if you want me to send my End-Game save or something.

I know this is reviving a long dead thread...but I've had the same experience now with the 1.31 patch. I finish the Darkness Rising mission (with that neat cut scene) and when it ends, I'm at the "Apocolyps" mission??? From what I've heard I just skipped a good 3 or 4 missions. I still can't find a way to stop this. I've replayed the first 3 missions several times, and it happens each time. I still have not completed the campaign mode due to this. I went and beat Apocolyps...but I'm missing
The only problem I see with this idea is, how long do most games really take? I don't think I've had a game thats lasted more then 5 years and I played a tough game on a huge map with 9 AI. So while it would be great to have some control of the questions in UP, it would only get to your turn once or twice during the game (unless I'm killing the AI increadbly fast); depending on when you get your turn to submit a question. I still like the idea, though I can't think of a good way to im
....yes yes yes...I completly screwed up Moral, and Morale. So Sue me. Thanks for the clarification that my Approval only matters in Elections, I'll just start taxing everyone to death now, then change it before an Election (just like a good politician). I can always Load up Transports and send them to less populated worlds to counter any declining population effects. I've searched a bit more and found a post saying that Very low approval planets can detach and form a
Ok, I get that Moral is linked to population growth, and in turn, the amount of tax you collect. But if my planet has 25bil people and the max is 25 bil...why do I even care what its moral is? Will the population start declining slowly; is it easier to take over? If the former, at what moral level should I be at to stop its decline, and if the latter should I even care if its a "core" world (one way out of enemy influence and range). Everyone is always so hyper over moral, like it MU
I have to agree with the "tech advantage" statements made here. In the main Campaign, you have Dread Lord ships which will demolish anything you put in front of it, thus making an all-out attack ship much more efficent then anything with defenses. In my latest game (tough 9-AI, Large galxay) my colony rush was thwarted by lack of inhabitable planets in my nearest systmes (I like playing like a real galxay...occasional habitable planets), and I started at a major tech disadvantage. A
Well won't that make my next Diplomatic Victory harder. Thanks for the clarification.
I acomplished a Diplomatic Victory on Normal settings my first time out of the box (just wish I had it on Metaverse for some medals) and I still havn't seen this "close" that everyone is refering to. I made all my Alliances with other Races when they were in "Friendly" status (atleast thats what it said on the Diplomacy screen), and I'm using the current 1.2 patch. Is there another location that shows current relations? Or did I just get lucky?
