Due to the alphabetical nature of the user ship lists, I make my ships called this- A999 _________ where the blank is the type of ship, laser attack, fast construct, missile. Stuff like that. As I make newer ships I call them A998, A997, and so on and so forth. So that when I make a new ship, I dont have to scroll down to find it. As far as naming individual ships go, I name the planetary defense ships specific to the planet they defend, so that I never do anything

Damn man, you make some good shit. I like that you only use what the game gives you too. Thats cool.
I like the two main ideas presented here. The most common one is battle planning. The other interesting thing is the idea of having weapons that go on certain size ship that damage certain size ships. But in all fairness, you can customize the hell outta your ships, so if theyre not doing what you want them to during battles, theres really nobody to blame but yourself. And as far as the weapons go, it taks so long to get to the big ships with the big weapons, then to build the fucker
Wow, I always talk with my uncle about this. I couldnt agree with you guys more. The campaign mode is restrictive and forced. Where as the sandbox mode is limitless and customizable. I just cant imagine having any fun with something that says "buld 2 influence starbases." Usually I dont even THINK about thinking about touching the campaign mode. In Rise of Nations; Rise of Legends it was kinda cool because it was a different game. It had the Risk type main map, then every battle wa
I just won my first game. I forget what level it was on, but i had to bump it down after getting crushed my first few times. I mean hammered. Anyway, I won with an INFLUENCE win of all things. I parked a few influence starbases around Earth and Mars. It was cool man. Mars flipped, and Earth had the red hexagonal skull and crossbones going. Then they gave it up. I know it was on a lower difficulty setting, so I'd imagine that it's a lot harder to do something like this later on, b
I've been playing the game for about a week now. By week, I mean a SOLID 2-4 hours a day. This thing is eating me up. Anyway, I always bounce back and forth with my fleets. Sometimes I'll have a group of figheters, escorted by a sensor ship (by escorted i mean they travel together, not they are together logistically) until I get the eyes. That way I dont have to sensor my fighters. Usually I have a variety of ships, older class, different hulls, sometimes I try and get some varying weapons
