...or StarDock could make a version for nintendo DS... uhm...

Anyway i've think a solution. If i build a xeno recreation center into my kitchen, pheraps my wife.... ..ok, ok.... i'll stop.
And to tell you the truth, if you put a stupid game above your wife... ...you deserve anything she does to you. I was joking, obviously.. It was only a way to tell you that i love this game. (my wife is addicted to animal crossing on nintendo ds, so we are happy)
I've a BIG problem with this game: i'm completly addicted to it, i'm spending all my free time with it, and my wife is starting to threaten me to throw my laptop out of the window. Any ideas?
i've not understand what is this bug.. i'm not playing at DA yet, so i've no idea.. have some links to post about this bug?
Ok, it seems that the new ships appears only when you start a new play. I've been defeated from the mission, i've restarted it, and now the ship that i've saved on the non-campaign game, appears.
Thank for your answer.. i'll try on dark avatar. Anyway, i've create a lot of user ships, called "Frigade I, Frigade II" and so on, during the campaign, then i've saved. I've finished the mission, and, on the next mission (always with the terran, obviously), they are not present, and i've to recreate and save it.
1 - Press next turn, the GNN news appears. Suppose than a new ship is ready. Press "GOTO", you will go into the starport. Now, try to press the "rally point" button: nothing happens. Close the starport, now the rally point request will appears, once, twice, or more times! 2 - In the map, or in the thech tree, press the left key, keep pressed and move the mouse: the map or the tree will scrolls. Now, if you go outside the window with the cursor (galciv in windowed mode, not full screen),
I'm no able to create ships from shipyard that are visibles both from the normal game than into the campaign. I've read the manual and i've read about an "template" tab into the shipyard, but... in game there isn't! If i save a ship from a normal game, i can retrieve if i start a new game, but if i contiunue a campaign, my ships are not displayed into the "user ships" section. I've both galciv II and dark avatar, all updated to the last version. Any idea?
ok, leave it is an option. In this case should be more direct a button with "the price is xxx bc" instead of the slider that actually is useless.
lol. I'm not a game developer, so it's not my business, so my solution is just an idea. The fact are that, actually, trading for a tech or a ship, is only another variant of "guess the number game. Tell me a number, if is greather than mine i'll tell you 'too big', otherwise i'll tell you 'too small'". The dicotomic search alghoritm. there is no ability to guess. Anyway it's only my p
I think that a solution could be this: - the colours of the words don't' change until you press the "send" button. - if you have made a good offer, (not only bc, but also in excanging tech, or plantets etc..), your opponent accepts the transation, the words become green and your reputation grow a little with him. - if you have made a bad offer, your opponent decline, the words become red, and your reputation decrease. Decreasing process is limited by a lower bound: it has no sen
uhm... you've a slider but you've also the arrows that increments by one the offer.. and i've tried: if the price is 820, when i get 819 the words are red.. increment by one with the arrows and become green, subtract and become red, reincrement and return green. In the same turn. Pheraphs i'm wrong, i'll check another time but i've done on this way a lot of time. Another thing: mission 5 of the campaign. Is the alternative mission: i've to get an alliance with a race (excuse, i'm a
I've noticed that when i'm trading with another race, it's too easy to find the cheapest price to obtain a technology, or a ship, or a planet etc.. The only thing to do is to select the bc button, and begin to move the slider back and forward: when the price is accepted, the alien words become green, if the price is too low, the word are red.. So, with a little patience, it's obviously the way to find the cheapest price and there's no more risk to pay more money for an acquirement. In subs
try the first mission of the campaign: at the beginning you've two ships: a colony and a scout. With the second you can go everywhere on the map.
Thank you. So 0.9 means 0.9 sector and i could go everywhere also with a ridicolous empire probably is due to an alliance with another race.
First of all my best congratulations for the beautiful game! And congratulation to the company for his policy: i've never seen before a software house with a so high care for his customer. I hope that others software house take you as example. Now the question: how does the ship's range works? I believe that it's the maximum distance of a ship from it's own homeworld, but: - often, the range has a value under 1 pk (parsec, right?), so, in theory, the ship sould not be a
