Is there going to be permanent wormholes in Dark Avtar? cause to tell ya the truth they're just kidda usless now...a permanent wormhole could be a very strategic resouce.

Even with a machine that barely makes the mins, it makes for quite an unenjoyable games, any of the 3d graphics will run slow... I intially ran the game on a laptop with 512mb of ram and the game would use up all available memory, i've since installed the game on a desktop with 4.0 GB of Dram and noticed on the task manager (while running the game) it likes to use 500-700Mb of ram for optium performance.

So there I am with only Two Civ's left to Conquer, (Terrans and the Korx) with the Korx mostlty dominated, two planets left with their military completely destoryed, when the terrans discover a precursor artifact that raises all planet Qualities to +14 with in a 2 sector raduis of sol! so now i'm stuck with a dilema do i now focus destorying the terrans for fear of their inevible power or try and beat them to the planets and suffer a loss in military production?

I noticed that many people who post their scores to metaverse have ranks and medals at the bottom of their posts. i've submitted a few games to metaverse, I have a rank and few medals but they never show on my posts. Where are they?

my guess is your running a machine with (most likey) an ATI Radeon on-board graphics card, with a 2003 driver? I have a sony viao laptop that had a similar problem...I needed a new driver for my card and the one from ATI would not install on my machine...luckly a hacker had the same problem i did, they hacked the driver with a secondary program so the new driver could be installed on older machines....if this is your problem repost and i can email the hack program to you. Note: hack is for

removing all game components, and patch files is probably the best bet...start over with a fresh installation,and then download and install the patch you want...then re-run the game at which point you will be ask to re-enter your serial # from the front of the jewel case the cd's came in...If this does not work than you have no choice but to contact stardock...most likely for a new disc although they may let you download directly from the website. If the translation is so horrible change your setting to English. I've been to Europe and know that 75% of the educated people speak english, because it is required in their schooling.

Maybe, also a battle simulator...this game would benefit from the addition of combat tactics
