General the Xendar Wars idea is a superb one and I may just do that as it would provide the prologue, as it were, to Mormon's story-not sure what perspective though-maybe multiple perspectives like my Altarian Story hmmm
That's great, though I would prefer to read the story's events as they happened. Don't get me wrong, your use of newspaper articles and the like (in your Altarian story) was original and awesome, but I don't think it would fit the Xendar story.

I'm still reading, and still enthralled.[e digicons]^_^[/e] KUTGW, Mambaman. Show those Greenskins who's boss! BTW, if you're interested, could you please make a story about your version of the Xendar wars, when you're finsihed with this one?

E P I C I was NOT expecting that ending! I really like how you handle an ascension victory here, too. What more can I say, except....when's the next story coming out???

Komnenos' The Twists of Fate and Fortune is fantastic. And how can I not mention Mambaman's epic, The General and the President ?

Isn't anyone concerned about the guy with the sign that reads, "Abolish Federal Government"? Also, he's wearing a Confederate battle-flag shirt...and he's in a Northern state...and he's not getting beaten up... How did THAT happen?
all hell would break loose when help comes from the prawn homeworld.
Given what the alien weaponry can do, I think a better term would be " Pwned homeworld".[e digicons]:D[/e]
whaddya think? sequel, named district 10?
Awesome, but unlikely. This was an adaption of Blomkhamp's original short, "Alive in JoBurg", so it's more of a passion project. That being said, I'd love to see some continuation of the story. Maybe a TV miniseries that chronicles the rise of an organized rebellion against MNU?

I always likeed the Vulcan ships from Enterprise. The burgandy color scheme was a nice contrast from the Enterprise's grey hull, and the "big ring" was a cool design motiff.
basically, they were assumed to be less-than-human, and treated as such. much as blacks were for hundreds of years, the worst of which occured in (can you say irony!) south africa, under the apartheid regime.
Quick tidbit: the name of the camp, District 9, is a refference to a holding camp for blacks during Apartheid, which was called District 6. Just thought I'd throw that in.

Hey everyone, I just got back from the theatre, and as the title suggests, I saw District 9 , the new sci-fi flick from Peter Jackson and Neil Blomkhamp. If you don't know what this movie is about, here's an outline of the plot: 30 years ago, an alien ship appeared over Johannesburg, South Africa. The aliens did not go on the attack, nor did they extend their hands/claws in friendship. In fact, they were refugees, fleeing their homeworld for reasons unknown. Th
I wish my school's robotics club would start up again.
Granted. However, one student produces a robot that can rip arart an Abrams tank in three seconds, runs on water, and is the size of a kitten. A team of soldiers breaks into the lab and takes everyone, including you, prisoner. You are transported to a scret facility where you will spend the rest of your life designing killing machines for the U.S. Army. I wish Rush Limbaugh would jump into a volcano.
