This looks like a really great mod :) . I really loved SMAC, I must dig out my old install disc and see if it will work on my new PC.
The type of things cariElf did with DL... but maintained and regularly updated with DA/TA features is some important stuff which would certainly help a lot of modders-to-be while providing a quick primer on the essentials for anyone else.
In addition to my existing tutorials, I hope to have this sort of thing on the I-Mod wiki as well at some point. Being a wiki, of course, means anyone can contribute :) .
I got the virus alert once as well, same message.
I'm sorry I haven't been active recently but my internet has been down recently and I'm just not finding time to get into a game. Maybe if I get TA once it is released that will change.
The site in question has a few technical issues at the moment. It's probably best to access the tutorials through the homepage .
There is a slight issue with I-Mod at the moment, try accessing it through http://87.118.120.219/ .
Good stuff, 8th here we come :) . Oh, and FB, I do have other things to be doing ;) . (Well, that and my internet went down :p .)
Good stuff all of you :) . I'd like to start a game but I'm rather busy atm. I'll see if I cab get some GC2 time in this weekend ;) .
If you have a look on I-Mod Productions , I've written a tutorial on UI Modding :) .
Nice speech FB :CONGRAT: . I'll edit it into the original post. On the subject of games, I did start one, and may or may not finish it at some point :p .
Notepad++ here too :) .
The Downloads section has now been opened up for anyone to upload to, and has an approval system like the Library here.
Blah blah blah... get to the point. The point being, you have been at number one for at least 1 octal of a day, and are therefore ripe for picking, so to speak. We have towels!
I also got the email problem, I'd imagine it has something to do with your host not allowing use of the mail() function in PHP. If this is the case you may have to turn account activation off. EDIT: My mistake. It appears the email arrived anyway :S .
To mod in Improvements, you will need to edit PlanetImprovements.xml this tutorial may help. For starbase modules, look in StarbaseModules.xml.
I told you you weren't going to like it. ( )
A welcome kay from me .
Nice stuff. I may download that .
By way of an apology, consider yourself a senator .
Ahh no, it appears we have become victims of our own success . Well it may be a bit overdue, but welcome to the Hitchhikers .
The list has been redone to include a couple new tutorials and to categorize the existing ones.
Nice speech, I like the 'not just another member' angle . However, I'm not quite sure about the 'Be a man' bit. I'll wait for a few more opinions . On another not, I have started another game for the Hitchhikers (my first game of GC2 for ages). It seems to be going well, I'm currently in the process of a military buildup so I can capture the Krynn homeworld and its lovely Precu
Wow, that's just amazing . TA should really give a boost to the modding community. Thanks Stardock .
As we now speak, I am downloading the 1.2 for Galactic Civs 2!!!! I did find one that was 1.4, but I figured that was overkill.
Really you should be installing the 1.5 patch. The latest version contains many new features, bugfixes and tweaks.
You can upload into the Library as soon as you want, but before anyone can download it it has to be approved.
