I am trying to make a widget that has 3 or more edit boxxes that I want to save the info from. I am useing object.persiststorage but I want it to store it as an array. Say "album(artest(song))" but I don't know if or how to acomplish this task. If anyone could help please do. And then how could I recall them by using list boxxes. Thanks alot for your help.
Thanks for the kick in the head. I forgot completely about the child proporties. I now know how to get the results I am looking for. I will just change the script a little so insted of a direction change it will start over again. And will take your advice and if it will display the whole text then not to scroll.
I would like to make an object that is text but I don't want it to just be static. I would like it to scroll from right to left and then start over like you would see in a news flash at the bottom of the screen. But not take up the hole screen width. Or as a media player would display the song man if it is longer then a spesified length. I don't really care if it is scripted or what I just have no idea how to make it work right.
I want to have an object in the center of the screen and be able to click and drag but not actuauly move the object but deending on how far to the right or left the mouse is when I let up a short cut or something to that effect opens or activates.
I saw a posting on here a while back and it gave me an idea but at the time the scripting was way out of my league. But now it is something I want to try to get working but can't find the posting. It was something to do with clicking the center of the screen and draging. And the direction and distances draged depends on what happens. I was looking for some help on what the script might be for it.
I don't understand all what you did but on mine I had a croos (layer object) that spins in the center on the screen that needs to be anamated. I then wanted to change the hue shift of all the other objects together on a timer so the hue shift was uniform acroos the desktop and it faded nicely from one color to then next. However then spinning cross would freeze everytime the Object_OnTimer1 sub was activated (i.e. if I made timer 1 for a two sec then every two sec it would pause for a sec) whi
I just made a small desktop for a friend nothing big which is why this problem suprised me so much. it had an object that was full screen just a jpg, 4 - 100 x 100 png for short cuts and a 550 x 400 layer that was anamated with 14 frames. pretty simple right. Well that all worked fine it was not until I tryid to change the hue of the objects with a timer that the anamation started skipping. I am trying to teach my self VBscript and have know one to site down when and ask the small questions and learn from a discussion like you would in a school. I am trying to use an activex control for windows media player and was woundering how to find a list of the control namespaces. I have one object say "file" that has a custom file attached and when clicked I want it to play on my activex media player. Can anyone help or at least point me towards some documentation so I can find the answer.

I am creating a desktop for someone and they would like some shortcuts to programes that I don't have and I need some help on how to make them. I have the full path for the files but my problem is I don't know how to script it and then I have problems with spaces in the folder names. Can some one help please.
If a save a widget as a gadget and it has a part that call for a spisifice wallpaper will it save it or how do I make sure it is saved with the exe

I am trying to make a slide show where you just drag and drop the images that you want. I am having a problem figuring out the scripting for it. Also would it be posable to drop the images on to another object other then the one displaying them. Any help ya'll can give would be great.
