It may be windows firewall, I am installing from impulse. I installed Galciv 2 from the cds and Dark Avatar plus Twilight from impulse, i think, the problem was that the install path from Impulse was set wrong. Doh :-P
I had the shipbuilding bug, were all components showed up in twilight of the Arnor. So i uninstalled all of Galciv 2 (galciv 2, Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor) but now it crashes after the cinematic. From what i can tell, it has some problems finding some files, as i have multiple partitions on my harddisk. Hey I have a strange problem with the ship builder, and I am unsure of if it is a setting I have to turn off or a bug. The problem is that I have acces to all the weapon components right from the beginning before even having done any research. And it is only the weapons, none of the defensive or fleet components is there or planetary and starbase improvements for that matter.
Seem like you guys have pretty much all of them taken care of, except number 7... Care to do something about it? :-D
