What do you think are the best iPad games? Here's my short list: 1. Sttarbase Orion (turn-based) - close to MOO2 - my favorite iPad game 2. Panzer Corps (turn-based) - modernized Panzer General - very close to the PC version - seems very stable 3. Scrabble 4. Civilization Revolution (turn-based) - not near as good as any PC version of Civ, but similar 5. Sid Meiers Pirates - a lot like the PC version 6. Spaceward Ho! - MOO Lite
I'm no opera fan (actually I prefer rock and metal) but, wow... I never thought I'd actually consider wanting to listen to it. All of these are intuitively gifted in such a way that is incredibly inspiring. And so young...
I don't care what language that was. It gave me chills. Stunning...
1. Civ 2 - I played this more than any other game to date. It's still installed on an XP box in the house. 2. Civ 5 BNW 3. Gal Civ II 4. Master of Orion II 5. Alpha Centauri
i hardly played any new games in 2013...but there were two new ones (actually expansions) that I enjoyed: Civ V BNW Panzer Corps: Allied Corps
Not just 4X games, but PC gaming is completely dead ... and for that matter, the PC itself is dead!
Oh, man... Again? I still never got over the last few times it died. I had to drown my sorrows in new PC games on a new PC.
It seems like my middle portion is what grows the fastest these days... Seriously, I enjoy mostly middle market games. I think the only AAA game I play right now is Civ V. Other games are from Stardock, Matrix, Paradox and GOG. They are IMO some of the better games.
One of my favorites...
Switched her to MSE as did I on XP. The speed gained was significant. Give it a try, Terry.
Not my experience at all. In fact precisely the reverse. MSE slows everything down on XP compared to Avast. On my Win7 machines, it's not noticeable, I think because they have better hardware.
I am ashamed to say that I don't know how to make a backup bootable... Any hints on how to do that?
Quoting heft, reply 16 IMO iOS 7 is kinda ugly... The first time Ive seen Apple mimic Microsoft's style. Well, they mimic it cause its modern and minimalistic, therefore good. I quite liked the old style as well, bar some details, but new one is IMHO better. Actually it managed to copy modern look of Windows while being not as impersonal.
</p

Thanks kryo, for your responses. I decided to just put GC2 back on my PC, and I purchased a copy of GC1 for my laptop. A win-win for me and Stardock [e digicons]:D[/e] .
Moreover, we don't want GalCiv II to be that much like MOO because it is a different kind of game. It is not a tactical-oriented game. It's about building up a civilization. MOO centered around tactical ship battles, GalCiv centers around building an overall civilization. Military strategy is only one aspect of GalCiv. In MOO, it was all about the military.
This is exactly what I like about Ga
